Basic Rules/Regulations of the SIM

Please ensure that you read and familiarize yourself with the League Rules and Regulations.

First and foremost, keep in mind this League is intended to be a fun medium for all armchair GM's, regardless of prior experience.

The following basic rulesets are for everyone:

Basic User Rules
-You may only GM one team. Multiple accounts will be banned.
-Do not spam and/or advertise on the board
-Once the transaction period has been declared open, there will be no swapping of teams.
-Due to board policy and rules, topics that are deemed to be offensive in nature will not be tolerated.
-Ensure that the username you register with is the username you maintain.
-Bullying and/or offensive behaviour towards other GM's will result in a suspension and/or banning.

GM Reputation
Keep in mind, your actions as a GM will have reprocussions on some facets of the SIM. For example, if you lowball players during salary negotiations they may opt to walk from the team and test free agency. In addition, if you have a tendency to repeatedly trade players, UFA's may opt to sign with other teams even though your offer is higher for "stability" reasons.

GM Inactivity
There is an expectation that all GM's who have signed up for the SIM will maintain a level of activity that allows for the proper running of the team. If any GM is noted to have not logged in for 3 days, without prior notice, he/she will be issued a warning via PM. If that PM is not responded to within 2 days, the GM will deemed to have abandoned the team and the team will be put back up for bid.
