The Canucks have offered contracts to the following players


Thomas Griess (A-) G - 1 year 0.750 M offered a contract of 3 years @ 0.850M/yr. (2.55M total)

Jimmy Sharrow (B) D - 1 year 0.523 M offered a contract of 3 years @ 0.650M/yr. (1.95M total)

Jason Krog (C) C - 1 year 0.605 M offered a contract of 2 years @ 0.700M/yr. (1.4M total)

Ray Whitney (C) LW - 1 year 3.550 M offered a contract of 1 year @ 1.500m/yr (1.5M total)

Comparable to the deal Recchi had last year 1 year 1.5M (we want whitney to know this not supposed to be an inuslting offer by any means but merely a deal that would let us ice the best team possible while giving you [ray] another great chance at the Holy Grail of Hockey)

Anthony Stewart (B) RW - 2 year 0.675 M (1.35M totoal)

we want Stewart to battle it out for the exra forward spot possibly even a 3rd or 4th lne RW role with guys like Ryan Carter, Jannik Hansen and Anton Axelsson
