The Vancouver Canucks would like to offer Cloutz 2 year 1.500 M contract a cap hit of 0.750 M
will get a chance this year & next season to battle for the backup spot

Cloutier has thought over both of the offers presented to him.
Cloutier was disappointed that a seasoned veteran of his abilities couldnt garner a contract with what he feels is acceptable financial re-imbursement.
Cloutier therefore signs in the KHL.
