The Colorado Avalanche offer Curtis Brown the following contract:
Term: 2 years 2.00M (1.000 M/yr cap hit )
Reasons:
-Will be playing a 4th line centre role
-Play on a team committed to winning
-Play with some of the best centres in the game, Sundin/Sakic
-Chance to prove that he can still play in the NHL
-Play in a market not as intense as a Canadian market but still a popular sport
