The Colorado Avalanche offer Alexei Semenov the following contract:

Term: 2 years 3.500 M (1.750 M/yr cap hit )

Reasons:
-Winning tradition here in Denver
-Play with other great defense man like Foote, Hannan, Liles, Salei
-Chance at a deep playoff run
-Top 2 pairing when Foote retires.
