Re: Crosby on the block
well I strongly suport it as fliping players is retarded as well as unrealistic Players dont get flip within minutes it takes months maybe even a season.
I want this sim to be realistic as possible

Re: Crosby on the block
i jus wanna have fun n its fun tradin players
especially if u get a good deal from it
the players we are trading dont have a choice but go where they are traded to
and its not like their morale goes down and they start playing bad theyll do the same whereenver they go

Re: Crosby on the block
did you guys not see the matt carle steve eminger trade a couple days ago (both of them were aquired in the offseason and were already traded)? and there have been numerous times in the nhl where players get flipped right away, just not many in recent history because they tend to incorporate it into 3-way deals now.

Re: Crosby on the block
I never said it doesnt ever happen but I will say if it wasnt a rule here the trading would become ridiculus and would make for a crummy sim
Re: Crosby on the block
I hope you don't mind if I interject here a moment, but haven't there already been a few unrealistic, yet still moderately fair, trades that have taken place in this sim?
Of course in real life these would never happen (mainly because whoever's in charge of rating these players is probably overpaid, because I hardly agree with any of them), but rediculous as some trades already are, you can only get so realistic with this.

Re: Crosby on the block
nobody notices that crosby is on the trading block?
that clearly shows that it's a game. which is totally cool. however i don't agree with flipping players, it does happen in real life. Fano will have the final decision on this. but who knows, if the value is right why not make the deal?
if it addresses a teams needs it should be allowed.
I also agree that i'd love it to be as close to real life as it could be, however i'm not the biggest blue jackets fan, and i'd HATE to be stuck with my starting roster, so i'd have to make a few trades to have a roster to be content with.

Re: Crosby on the block
i think we should be able to trade who we want. the rosters are already so fucked up, who cares how they turn out now. this is fantasy and we should be able to make our teams how we want them. Look at me, i have maybe two people left that were part of the Blues organization before i took over.
