I could try that but don't know if it would work

you could at least steal the starting rosters from here so we could begin again.

cuz i'm guessing we'll have to get a few new GM's and no one wants to start witha torn up team.

or use the NHL 09 roster update and redo the pictures seems like a lot more work but you get guys like Brunnstrom and Hansen is rated 77

I spoke to Fan yesterday and he is unsure of what he is doing.....
the amount of work that goes into keeping this Sim going has had implications in his personal life ......
His signifigant other and his child were being neglected....causing Drama as you all could imagine.....
I told him that if this is true and he doesnt want to Jeoparidize his home life that we would understand...
I also told him to just make a decision and post it here so we can move forward....
Kubz can atest to the trial and tribulations that comes with doing that job.....

Fan doesn't even have time for me anymore

we should wait for fan to tell us if his staying if not..... then we can start a new sim and all the gms(gms tht actually come on) could contribute to make tht sim start up faster...

it was probably pretty tough recreating all the players, and starting the whole thing all over again. must of taken a long time.

if somebody finds a new one, just let me know as well. but i'll wait to hear from fano

man you really are terrible at links eh? that roster link idea from nubbles definately did not work. in case you hadn't noticed.

First of all I dont think people quite understand the time committment involved in making this work with an EA game.

You see all of those pictures that were linked? Each had to be digitally photographed. Downloaded to the PC. Uploaded to file storage site and linked. That is for every player in the league.

You see all the season rosters poster? Each one had to be edited, including all minor league players.

You see the second season rosters, the few that had been done? Each players stats new stats had to be recorded. Each player had to have all of their stats manually reviewed and updated. For each player on every team, including the minors.

From there you would have to go back to the first point and start all over every single season.

The rosters are here. If someone wants to take this on I am sure they are free copy the roster, modify their game, re-sim and carry on with year 2 and beyond. I just know I am not interested in spending the 100s of required hours going through all of this work especially in light of the responses here. Fan did not want this to fall apart and that is why it took sometime to come to this conclusion, he was trying to make it work.

I think it should also be added that he was constantly taking shit and abuse from a number of the GMs, they know who they are. Personal commitments by reading his post obviously aggravated the situation but even without that I think this was unmanagable and doomed.

People expect someone to do all the work and if they arent able keep it up, they are a "FAGGET". Now I could see the anger if you were paying for all this but guess what, you werent. So in the end this was going to end at some point it just turns out it is now and given the flames in this thread it is obviously for the better.

So in summary go eat shit and die you ungrateful douches. To the rest it was entertaining while it lasted, have a good one.
