This forum is designed to extend players on your team who are currently in the last year of their contracts. Ensure that you have any desired players extended prior to the completion of the season or they will become Unrestricted Free Agents.
When attempting to extend a player, post in the following format:
Subject:
Vancouver Contract Extension Offer
Text:
Player A (include player link) C - 1 year 0.750 M is offered an extension of 3 years 3.000 M (1.000 M/yr cap hit)
Ensure that the player link is included in the thread. League Management will review the contract extension offer and either accept or provide a counter offer of what the player feels is market value. League Management may include "comparable" players to emphasize the contract the player is seeking.
Once an extension has been agreed upon, update your official roster accordingly by placing the extension figures behind the players current contract.
Ie: Player A C - 1 year 0.750 M EXT: 3 years 1.000 M
