The Minnesota Wild shall recieve the following: Valtteri Filppula (B) C - 4 years 3.000 M
Detroit shall recieve the following in return: Cal Clutterbuck 73 (A-) - 1 years 0.591 M
as well as
Beniot Pouliot 70 (B) - 2 years 0.950 M
Minnesota's reason for trading: Needs a more offensive team without sacrificing too much D. Filppula is an offensive grinder, which fits very well. However, Clutterbuck alone isn't quite enough to break even, and the only other thing I can offer with Clutterbuck is a pick, and I figure my pick will rank higher than Pouliot, who I was looking to be rid of anyway. My picks will fill my gaps in my line-up one way or another.
